Information for newcomers and visitors
The service used is the Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostom (of St Basil the Great during Lent),
sung mainly in English, with some prayers in Greek and Church Slavonic
After the service, all are welcome to join us at our bring-and-share lunch
The community is part of the worldwide Orthodox Church, being part of the Deanery of Great Britain and Ireland of the Exarchate of Orthodox Parishes of Russian Tradition, within the Jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
Our local members represent a diversity of Orthodox languages and cultures,
including English, American, Arab, Bulgarian, Cypriot, Finish, Georgian, Greek, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Serbian and Ukrainian
